Management in the College of Barkatullah was created in 1979. Chakravarti Rajgopalachari Institute of Management, or Crim, Jack offers postgraduate full-time in management (MBA) for two years for students. Entry to this programme is governed by a rigorous selection process conducted by VYAPAM and scenario of commercial activities.

The engineering college of Barkatullah University was established as College of Engineering in August 1997 with the approval of the All India Council for technical education in concurrence with the Government of Madhya Pradesh. The Institute changed its name in 2000. After some time it changed its name to Barkatullah University Institute of Technology (FASE). This is a leading technological Institute of central India.

It is a self-financed Institute and offers engineering courses in the following components:

Engineering Electronics & communications Boris
B.E. Computer Science & engineering
B.e. mechanical engineering
B.e. information technology
B.e. civil engineering

UIT (now BUIT) also offers postgraduate programs are the following:

M.tech. (Material Science) (full time)
M. Tech (Computer Science & Engineering) (full time)
M.tech. (Information Technology) (full time)
Master in computer applications (full-time)

In addition to these programs, some part-time programmes m. Tech are offered by the BUIT.

Sponsorship of Barkatullah University and cooperation with the industries of the region provides excellent exposure for their students. Barkatullah University has made available a 30 acre (120,000 m2) of land on the campus of the UIT. The University also provides infrastructural objects, which include the new college building floor area of 4763 m2. Institutional building of 3726 m2 (floor area) for the creation of the laboratory of the State of art planned services.

In addition to the conventional courses, the University offers several innovative and oriented to the work at the post-graduate level. Most of these courses are not traditional and interdisciplinary. There are 100 academic programs, covering undergraduate courses and postgraduate courses. There are 26 self-financing courses.
